Van de Wiel started her company, Stronger with Music, to bring together like-minded individuals in art and outside of it to show how the creative economy can bring about social change. She emphasizes the power of storytelling in creating impact and shares how evoking emotions through narratives brings about connection.
Van de Wiel also advises that numbers are not everything and that you’re making a difference even if you connect with just one person. “Don’t be afraid to be you, just to be you. That your voice is powerful and can be seen and will be seen,” she said.
