Empowering Women in Politics: Mary Chung Hayashi on the Girls That Create Podcast

Are you passionate about wanting to see more women in political leadership roles? Then listen to host Erin Prather Stafford’s chat with Mary Chung Hayashi, author of Women in Politics: Breaking Down the Barriers to Achieve True Representation. Their discussion explores both the challenges and opportunities women face in politics and why true representation is essential for a thriving democracy.

“Studies have shown that men tend to run for office because they seek a leadership position,” said Hayashi. “Women, on the other hand, they run because they care about an issue deeply. And often, it starts with an issue that’s very personal to us.”

About Mary Chung Hayashi
