What is the word?
It’s not unprecedented. I am done with that one, seen over and over in headlines, emails, speeches. Unprecedented feels like a poor sloppy stand-in for the word we should be using to describe this time. I’ve heard friends say the universe is done with humanity’s antics; we’ve all been put in the ultimate time out. The more optimistic have dubbed this time “the great pause” so we can refocus on what truly matters. I hope you will find the best word to describe it for yourself. One that gives strength to push forward and shine a bright light in the darkness. I’m thinking mine will be perseverance.
Be well, be safe.
